Ahoy-hoy

Been a while since I posted anything (2 months) and must confess it has been just about as much hobby as well. I.e. very little. Have done a few half-completed minis to the Beast unit, a FF49 Giant Spider, a c38 beastman that didn't work out at all and prepped a few others.

A little too much of work and a quite a lot of travelling and I guess I also just lost the inspiration for a while. This is quite typical for me. A very intense period followed by nothing followed by something followed by something else...

I am planning to start another project in parallel to my Chaos Fantasy army. Continue on my 40K Khorne warband (this post: LINK) and also start an Imperial warband. 

The first I plan to do is an Imperial Robot seen in the picture below. The color-scheme I think will be a dark yellow with a black spiked pattern. Will do a quite worn look as well (keen to paint in a different style/way than the Chaos Fantasy Army)

Will probably use different minis than the once below. Would like a robotic and armored gang (I think) and the Minotaur are definitely going into a chaos warband.

I have a few of the old Asgard sci-fi creatures (Trimote Warriors & Orts) and will probably do a warband or two of these as well.

    NIce to see you back Hans ! And glad you're on board on the rogus trader train !
    Can't wait to see what you do with the dread, this one fits your style perfectly I think and th eI love the bluetack build ;)
    I think 2014 is the year of the Rogue trader revival so let's make it unforgettable !

      It's nice to be back. Not sure I can say I'm back as I'm still to produce something :) ... Nice to get the blogging up and running again though.

      Really exited to paint the Imperia Robot. Really keen on painting a worn look and experiment a bit as well (kind of what I did with the 40k Korne Warband) so Will probably be more Rogue Trader stuff for a while.

      What have you been up to lately?

      Fine, trying to clean up the closet at themoment to start afresh so I nailed the rooster knight and i'm about to finish Kaleb too. I have a shitload of Rogue trader warbands ahead and the sensei gang is going to be first on the list. Add some chaos as usual on top of this and here I am !
      I think I will launch the seoncd phase of the best mini ever after too uch procrastination...
      Any models you throw at us Hans will be warmly welcomed !

    Good to see you back! This new project has all the ingredients to be something very special. You've bought together an excellent array of vintage miniatures which I can't wait to see with paint on!

      Hi Gareth - nice to hear from you!

      I have a lot (and I mean a lot) of Rogue Trader stuff so creating these warband will be a lot of fun. Will probably add more robots (like the Giant Robots) and and a few heavily converted minis I have yet to paint.

      Started some years ago with an Inquisitor warband so might try to finish this one as well.

    Glad to see you back sir. I too am currently working in CSM's specifically the Alpha Legion. I am very much looking forward to seeing what you come up with; I'm sure your standard will set the standard impossibly high.

      Oh yes I do - six of them as well :)

      I noticed they were missing from your collection. I could trade one of them for a Trimote - preferably an overlord. Interested?
