See Hans, I've already painted a fair bunch of renegades now and seeing the ones you've painted (both the Khorne and Nurgle ones) feels like being thrown to the face, the solution of the sudoku or croswords you're just struggling on... I'm just sitting here crying of admiration.
Starting from the last pic (the WIP) I used thin layer of reds and painted towards the edges (a lot of layers). I did a bit of dotting in very small dots of paint as well here and there for a more rugged look as well.

That's stunning Hans, it glows! Your style is so enigmatic and even more so now I can't work out how you got from the wip to the finish?
ReplyDeleteThanks Stuart! Layers, layers and more layers :)

Your style is very unique Don. Your should do a YouTube tutorial to edumacate all of us amateurs :)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, your stuff is always really, really cool! I wish I could paint as half as good as you can.
Well done.
Thanks you very much the one!!!
DeleteWe'll see about a video. Tried to photograph the process ones but the photos became very bad.
