The model can be used with both undead and nurgle armies. As this is a nurgle one I added a face to the otherwise faceless sculpt. Added a chaos familiar and a nurgling to the base as well.
Working on the Chaos Dwarf cannons so these will likely be up next. Also just started prepping the Kegox Chaos Dragon ... this one will take a while
Thanks! /Hans

Don is this awesome! Btw could you do a post with an updated army shot? It would be cool to see everything together as it has progressed. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteActually planning to do that very soon. Have quit a lot now so an army post is definitely due

Absolutely love stuff,I had this model and ended up bastardising it for parts for half a dozen other models... wish I had kept it together now! Will have to buy another!

You are becoming one of my favourite painters overall, and one of the absolute best in the Oldhammer mini-world. Stunning work!

Terrific work as ever. I really like the shading on your models. Do you have a special technique for this kind of pastel effect? It looks really good.
ReplyDeleteThanks Toby! A combination of color choice and painting technique I guess. I paint by building up with thin diluted layers of paint adding different colors. E.g. the bones have greens and blues to give it this look

As usual, amazing! What did you use for the yolk?
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew! Cut out a bit of plastic card and then covered it with green stuff. Carves in some grains in the green stuff.
