40k Nurgle Ultra-Inferno Destructor Demon

Put a lot of effort into this one and made a very detailed paint job.

The build:
The base in a Space Marine torso where I attached an old Epic Reaver titan weapon to the groin. Used some various bits to create an "arm-leg", a bit like the medieval mythical skiapods/monopods. I only wanted one limb so the second arm socket instead received a torch and flanked by an old terminator breast shield.

Important was to make it look like it wasn't about the fall over. So a bit of leaning and the hand under the body and not next to it made the trick I think (not such this is capture in the pics though)

The second part of the build was to create a texture, especially since some bits are plastic and quite flat and dull. Used mainly stomped on liquid green stuff.

The paint job:
The colors are the same style as the rest of the warband. Put a lot of more time into this one though (quite  motivated by that I built the thing myself) and did a very detailed paint job using the texture I created.

Well, lets stop the mumbling and get right to it.

  1. Bizarre!

The WIP pic from the previous post better illustrates your point about getting the hand/foot under the center of mass.

    1. Thanks! You're right - it shows it a bit better. The balance thing looks better in real life as well
