New Project: Citadel Adventurers Starter Set

Hello!

Stared a new project recently. Something quite different from my usual chaos stuff. The Adventurers Starter Set released by Citadel in 1985!

Citadel Adventurers Starter Set from 1985
A great set of miniature that give the impression of being sculpted in the early slotta days.

The plan is to paint them according to the box art and here is the first one out. The young fighter. As the front of the shield wasn't visible this gave me some creative freedom.

    Great job! The shield is a nice design, reminds me of a national flag of some country or another...

      I think you are right. The shield have a flag feel to it. Maybe the flag of his far away native city...

      Thanks the one for your confidence in me :). Been painting a few of them now and it was really tough. Challenging in switching from my chaos style to a more natural look

    Very nice! That's a great old set. I always loved the box art. Beautiful painting on the young fighter. He looks ready to take on the monsters boxed set!

      Agree. The box art is great. Big fan of the old boxed set and much due to their artwork. Have collected a few of them and might do a few more after this one.
