I finally finished a unit for my Chaos Army. Considering my blog had it's 1 year birthday yesterday I can't think of a better way of celebration!
So here they are the: The Master of Madness Motley Rotters (or in Swedish: Den Galna Befälhavarens Brokiga Fähundar)

The absolute pinnacle. Congratulations and thanks for a years' worth of gorgeous miniature painting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gareth!
DeleteOutstanding. Seems that guy in the back rank with the tail and tentacle arm went back for seconds when Nurgle was handing out blessings. Love the stark black and white iconography on the shields and standard.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to what the next year brings.
Thanks Finch - yes - he got greedy...

A piece of art, an entire army painted to this standard would really be something!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your second year!
Thanks 24_Cigarettes! Well the plan is an army. Give me a few years ... :)

DeleteA magnificent unit! Wish my minis looked like that. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mouse! /Hans
DeleteIt's been a real joy to see this unit come together. It looks more like a display piece than a unit for the gaming table. A real achievement, Nurgle would be proud.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was a real joy to do - now I try to finish the Thugs

Absolutely brilliant, sir. A real work of unique beauty. Everything is perfect, from the individualism on the models themselves to the iconography to the marvelously sinister basing technique you've used. This unit would look right in place as a feature for an 'Eavy Metal column around 1988. Really great job- wish I had your patience!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for those nice words!
