Citadel Adventurers Starter Set #5: Completed!

Finally completed the Citadel Adventurers Starter Set.

Built myself a scenic base for the set as well. The idea is the entrance into a dungeon. Quite suitable for a set of adventurers I think.

All the miniature paint jobs are based on the artwork on the box. Omitting some details though that I didn't have the patience for like the checkered pattern on the night.

Included a few WIP shots of the base as well.

40k Nurgle Flying Techno Demon

Finished building the latest addition to my little 40k Nurgle Warband. Calling it a Flying Techno Demon.

The base is a space marine terminator torso with an Chaos epic head and a whip weapon as tail (see pic below).

Used an old jump pack as the source for the flying ability and custom built the arma/claws. Used green stuff and liquid green stuff to create texture. Some other bits and pieces too.

Rogue Trader Imperium Force #3: Exorcists Chapter - Tech Space Marine

Next addition is a Tech Marine. The backpack is a fusion of a 90s backpack and some later Adeptus Mechanicus bit.

Never understood why the tech marines have a hand shoulder pad. Anyone knows why?

Rogue Trader Imperium Force #2: Crusader Imperial Robot

Next addition to the Imperium Force is a Crusader Imperial Robot. A fantastic model in my opinion.

A lot of surfaces on this one and was quite time consuming.

GW actually released modern versions of this and the Castellan robot which are clearly based on the originals.

Rogue Trader Imperium Force: Exorcists Space Marines

Well, felt a sudden urge to paint Space Marines. So I did. Painted 6 and an Imperial Robot.

Wanted to use one of the old school Rogue Trader chapters and after some thinking I went for the exorcists. Partly because I thought they would be fun to paint and partly being quite drawn to the Inquisitors so the Exorcists seems a good idea.

Planning to do a bit more than a small warband but maybe not a large army. Definitely going to mix the force up a bit with e.g. Imperial Guards, Adeptus Mechanicus and for sure an Inquisitor or two.
