Nurgle Army Update: A few WIP

Hi,

Some work in progress stuff for my Nurgle Army. Its the Army Leader on his Carnivorous Bird (finished building it), the Army Standard and the Zombie Dragon.

• The Standard is made of the wings from a Citadel DRAG4 Great Fire Dragon - had a extra pair of wings :)
• The Carnivorous Bird is from the Citadel C29 Monster Series with some bits and green stuff added. On the base is a Citadel Familiar and an Ant from the Citadel C29 Creepy Crawlies series.
• The Army Leader uses a Chaos Knight Leg and Right Shoulder/Arm, Great Unclean One Left Arm, Blood hound torso mid 90s version (all Citadel) and then some other bits and pieces and green stuff.

A few more detailed shots of the Army Leader (Here is the first post of it - LINK). I used quite a lot of liquid green stuff to create texture especially since some bits are plastic and are too "clean" for my taste. There are a few more chains added to the bird head as well after I took the photos to hold up the extra jaws.

Nurgle Army Update: Cavalry Unit Finished!

Hello again!

Been a while. Fell of the grid for a while. Been painting a bit though since last time and in particular finished the Cavalry Unit.

First of all I finished the Leader. Building it was done over 2 years ago (here and here). Went for a quite colorful paint-job and quite a lot of contrasts to make it stand out from the other once.

Citadel Adventurers Starter Set #4

Next up is the "Wizard with Magic Staff". I kept to the colors of the original art-work but ignored or the freehand stuff.

Finished the Expedition Pack mule. Didn't follow the artwork exactly as it was a bit too much of the same brown all over. So went for different browns on the packing.

Ahoy-hoy!

Next update of the Citadel Adventurers Starter Set. Put the finishing touches of the four first yesterday evening so here they are:

From left to right: Stealthy Dwarf Thief, Stout Dwarf Warrior, Indomitable Gnome, Young Fighter

A lot of fun to paint and nice change to my chaos stuff. Quite challenging to switch though to a more natural look so had to spend quite a of of time to figure out how to paint skin again :)

I have also tried to mimic the look of these characters from the box art using the same colors and stuff.
